In 1935, Matsuura first began producing and distributing lathes in the Fukui City factory. In 1957, the production and distribution of milling machines was added to Matsuura’s product line, leading to the establishment of the Matsuura Machinery Corporation in 1960. Today, with over 280 employees, the company’s home office continues in Fukui City with overseas branch offices in the USA, Germany, UK and Canada. The company’s product line represents a continuing evolution of technology in response to customers’ demanding needs, while maintaining the company’s devotion to quality. The current product line covers horizontal machining centers and vertical machining centers, with specialized models for ultra high speed, high accuracy and 5-axis applications.
